A special #FF thank you to @jamiedelano and @amendlocke. Without the influence of these two brilliant writers, they’d be no Hookland, no words from me. I’d say the same about Ballard, Carter and Aickman, but they’re dead and you can’t follow them till we have EtherScope Twitter..

@jamiedelano @amendlocke Pah. Benchmark voice with all of those. If anyone has to take a larger share of the blame it’s Ballard for telling me in that BBC taxi over the Westway to stop writing crap non-fiction and “Concentrate on place. Nothing without a sense of it is ever any good.”
