@ivan007 @saltysaltyhamm @LastChangeling My use of language is all over the place because to write is to constantly learn from failing, but you knew what I meant with that sentence and you as fellow writer, are sharp enough to know why that word was used. If you expect only a meh, why bother pointing it out?

Hookland 2/11/20 21:57:09

@ivan007 @saltysaltyhamm @LastChangeling Responding with this guff to try and make a point that others don‰Ûªt like criticism when all I did was call out what I saw as some snark is some next level irony. If I used gifs, I‰Ûªd roll an irony applause one.

@ivan007 @saltysaltyhamm @LastChangeling I explained why the word was there. Partly to serve an agenda of not assuming everyone is on the same page, partly my style of amplification. Putting out a meh hardly seems like a worthy observation, seems like snark.

@ivan007 @saltysaltyhamm @LastChangeling And part of point of this community is to allow others to feel they can write without worrying they will be pulled apart for spelling errors or style because those things are less important than a good shiver or the sentiment of being anti-misogyny.

Have just discovered the lore of water babies in Hookland. Blinking hell! Not Charles Kingsley‰Ûªs lovely creatures! The spirits of infants drowned at birth, forever searching the waters for their mothers and with the worst of teeth for being breast-fed. – #MattAdams, 1980
