@SydMoore1 @dickymoo It is difficult, uncomfortable, intimate – just as magic often is. I know the person who one of the roles is allegedly based on though I think it is clearly an amalgam of several 90s occultists.

Here comes Old Mother Hurden and Young Apprentice Louisa Lane to harvest hedge and sweeps autumn‰Ûªs magics into their bags. Here them chatter, here them sing. Watch for all the witchcraft they bring. – Lines from trad. Hookland mystery play ‰Û÷The Nine Walkers‰Ûª #WitchcraftWednesday

They call Toby Ward ‰Û÷eel-sniffer‰Ûª all along the river. People reckon he can smell an eel from under the water whatever weeds they be hiding in. Some say it‰Ûªs a gift from God, some say it comes from being of witch-stock as eels and witches go way back. – Tom Rudd #WitchWednesday

The probable reason why the Hookland Chronicle’s illustrator did not depict ‘the monstrous black lion of the Americas seen loose upon Huddle Common’ on September 6th, 1895, but rather the witness fleeing from it, was because she didn’t know what a puma looked like. #OTDIHookland https://t.co/GFn9EHTT4q

@GroupHookland @Ravensthorpe0 The old ages of youth – plimsoll, tennis shoe and trainer – were somewhat lost on me being both not that interested in sport and a gothic punk.

@GroupHookland @Ravensthorpe0 While sport shoes are a key element of fashion for some genres of music I enjoy – I made pilgrimage to Strong Island while in New York to give thanks for JVC Force – I haven’t owned a pair since 1986, so not really up on such matters.
