Autumn has us moving from raptured happiness to profound depression within minutes depending on the colour of its sky. It’s the season of beauty wrapped around the cold, death-bringing blade of knife. – Hookland artist Katherine Giddings on her painting Autumn Gate, 1963 https://t.co/K9T4ZOjGsz

@PatchouliJim @Dark__Leaves I never assume that because a project is important me me that it will be to others. I am aware Hookland is somewhat reviled in certain quarters, but it is what it is and it is there for everyone who has want or need of it. I deeply love seeing what others make of it.

@jearle The commonality between 2000AD’s The Cursed Earth, Starlord and Misty is of course @PatMillsComics, who get’s his own A-Z entry.

@PatchouliJim @Dark__Leaves Hookland’s a large project, a creation not just of world but community. It has many aspects, many agendas. I realise to some its surface looks simplistic, to others maddeningly complex, chaotic. I retain my hope that all who work its ghost soil find something that haunts them.
