@KosmicKris @GroupHookland The real DI Callaghan was a huge science fiction fan (written – his rants about film and TV science fiction were notorious). I don‰Ûªt think it is a conceit at all. The fictional DI Callaghan doesn‰Ûªt like sci-fi, but has a fondness for boffins and back-room boys and girls.

@PipA01157048 You can love your land, lore and ancestors without being a racist prick – most of us do. It‰Ûªs not exactly hard thing to do. However, use of phrases like blood and soil is going to trigger people. We all know that. Those that do it, might not be racist, but are happy to offend.

@PipA01157048 I take the Dolly Parton line on offence and those who think they are ‰Û÷edgy‰Ûª using it are just widening the window of it usage, normalising the language that drives a fascist agenda. I am never going to comfortable with that or wanting to associate with those who OK with it.

@PipA01157048 If you don‰Ûªt want to neo-Nazis enjoying some masturbatory glee, don‰Ûªt want to trigger those who fear that language for what it means to fascists, it isn‰Ûªt difficult to evolve the language of non-numpty expression for love of land and lore.

Fences never stopped us following The Hum. Not roads or rivers. Certainly not farmers. The wires above held a higher calling. We walked the lines because of what he heard in The Hum – the land‰Ûªs voice, not just of today, but its tomorrow‰Ûªs . – Tattoo Labyrinth Dave, Pylon Person https://t.co/jvsfZ80JRc
